Common questions

Why is 27agents so much cheaper than other AI agents?

We match the model to the job. Each agent uses a mix of frontier models and open-weight models, picked for what each task actually needs, rather than sending everything to the most expensive model. And each agent has a narrow job, so it doesn't load all of your context on every request. That makes it faster and cheaper. None of this costs you privacy: we only use zero data retention models, and your data is never used to train a model.

What about the environmental cost of AI?

We use small, efficient models wherever we can, and we don't overuse large, power-hungry ones. Most of what Em and Miriam do runs on a small, fast open-weight model. A larger model runs only when a job needs it, such as reading a photo or reviewing code. Each agent also has a narrow job, so it doesn't load all of your context on every request.

What happens if I go over my plan's volume?

Em works up to your plan's daily email allowance. Mail above it stays in your inbox, and Em continues with it the next day in your local time.

Rolling Em out to a team?
