Terms of Service
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Thank you for using 27agents. These terms keep the ship afloat; the short version is that we treat your data as yours, we ask you to use the service fairly, and choosing an early product means placing some trust in us, which we do our best to deserve.
When we say "27agents", "we", or "us", we mean chrismdp ltd. When we say "Services", we mean 27agents.ai and the 27agents AI assistants that work in your Slack workspace (such as Em), in whatever form they are delivered. When we say "you", we mean the people and organizations with an account for the Services. 27agents is an early-stage product; features will change as it grows.
When you use the Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest version of these terms. If we make a significant change, we will refresh the date above and take appropriate steps to notify account holders. These terms contain a limitation of our liability.
Account terms
- You sign in with Slack, and your workspace's Slack security is part of your account security. You are responsible for everything posted and done under your account, including by others in your workspace.
- You may not use the Services to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, or to try to gain access to data that is not yours.
- You must be a human to open an account.
Payment, refunds, and plan changes
- Billing is handled by Stripe. If you are on a paid plan, you pay in advance for the period you choose.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes; where we are required to collect them, we will.
- If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we will make it right. We would rather refund a genuine mistake than argue about it.
Cancellation and termination
- You can stop using the Services at any time: remove the app from your Slack workspace, revoke the Google connection, and email support@27agents.ai to cancel a paid plan and to have your stored data deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Services or the people who run them.
Modifications to the Services and prices
We may change or discontinue parts of the Services, and we may change prices. If a price change affects you, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email before it takes effect.
Uptime, security, and privacy
- The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without a service-level agreement. We take uptime seriously, but this is an early product.
- When you use the Services, you entrust us with your data, including, if you connect it, your Google account's email and calendar. We process it only as described in our Privacy Policy and for no other purpose. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
- People at 27agents access your content only: to help with a support request you made, with your express permission; to fix a failed automated process, touching the minimum needed; to investigate abuse of the Services; or when required by applicable law.
- We use third-party subprocessors (Cloudflare, Slack, Google, OpenRouter, PostHog, Stripe) to run the Services; the Privacy Policy lists what each receives. A data processing agreement is available on request for customers who need one.
Content ownership
- Everything you and your team put into the Services, and everything the assistants read on your behalf, remains yours. You give us a limited license to process it purely to provide the Services to you.
- We own the Services themselves: the software, design, and branding.
Features and bugs
We design the Services with care, but no software is bug-free and no service pleases everybody. We make no guarantee that the Services will meet your specific requirements, and AI assistants in particular can make mistakes: check important information before acting on it.
Liability
You expressly understand and agree that 27agents shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the Services; (ii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iii) statements or conduct of any third party on the Services; (iv) or any other matter relating to these terms or the Services, whether as a breach of contract, tort (including negligence whether active or passive), or any other theory of liability.
In other words: choosing to use the Services means you are making a bet on us. We do our best to be a safe bet.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing in this clause takes away any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim in your own country's courts or to rely on mandatory protections of your local law.
